CAR MOT

Unless your car is less than three years old, having your car’s MOT up to date is a legal requirement in the United Kingdom and it has to undergo an annual inspection and safety check. This is known as a MOT test. Issuance of a MOT certificate means that your car meets the government’s road safety and environmental standards set out in the test.

MOT tests can be completed up to 30 days before the expiry date of the last certificate, and the test can only be carried out by approved MOT testing centres. These are government appointed by the Vehicle & Operator Services Agency, known as VOSA.

Our MOT test centre is based at Escrick Business Park, Escrick, York. Our fully trained team of technicians are Vehicle & Operator Standards Agency (VOSA) approved and will test that your car is safe and legal to drive.

Our test centre is equipped with the very latest in computer aided diagnostic and automotive equipment, which allows us to work quickly, efficiently and offer cost effective solutions for any remedial works that may be required. A MOT usually takes around an hour so you’ll be able to wait for your car in our reception and drive away in it, once it’s complete.
